Will’s only hope lies with two true talents: Rachel Berry (Lea Michele), a self-proclaimed star who is convinced that MySpace and show choir and are her tickets to fame and Finn Hudson (Cory Monteith), the popular high school quarterback with movie star looks who must protect his reputation from his holier-than-thou girlfriend and Cheerios head cheerleader, Quinn (Dianna Agron) and his arrogant football teammate, Puck (Mark Salling). Will is determined to do whatever it takes to make Glee great again, but his only ally is fellow teacher and germaphobe Emma Pillsbury (Jayma Mays). Everyone else around him thinks he’s nuts, from his tough-as-nails wife Terri Schuester (Jessalyn Gilsig) to McKinley’s scheming cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch). But Will is out to prove them wrong.

Most law enforcement can’t handle Brennan’s intelligence, her drive for the truth or the way she flings herself headlong into every investigation. Special Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) of the FBI’s Homicide Investigations Unit is the exception. A former Army sniper, Booth mistrusts science and scientists, the “squints” as he calls them, who pore over the physical evidence of a crime. But even he cannot deny that the combination of his people-smarts and Brennan’s scientific acumen makes them a formidable team.

Prior to the show, a contestant is hooked up to a polygraph and asked more than 50 questions; there is no polygraph testing conducted during the actual show. Without knowing the results of the polygraph, he or she is asked 21 of those same questions again on the program, each becoming progressively more personal in nature. If the contestant answers honestly, according to the polygraph results, he or she moves on to the next question. However, should a contestant lie in his or her answer (as determined by the polygraph) or simply refuse to answer a question after it has been asked, the game ends. If he/she gives a false answer before the $10,000 level of questions, he/she leaves with nothing; after the $25,000 level, if a false answer is given, the contestant leaves with $25,000 (during the first season, a false answer on any level caused the player to leave with nothing).

For each tier of questions answered correctly, the contestant wins the corresponding amount of money. A contestant may stop at any time before any question is asked and collect their earnings, but once they hear a question, they must answer it or lose the game. Answering all 21 questions truthfully, as determined by the polygraph results, wins the jackpot of $500,000.

The questions vary, increasing in difficulty and degree of personal nature of the questions. To date, no contestant has reached the final tier. Sometimes, a surprise guest – such as an ex-partner or a good friend will come on the stage and ask a particularly difficult question. Friends, colleagues and family of the contestant who are gathered near the player have access to a button which can be used to switch out a question once per game, an option which is introduced to them after the third question.

It doesn’t matter whether you are playing alone, in a twosome or in a foursome, golfing etiquette demands that you must always wait your turn. You must stay aware of the group on the next hole and wait until they are well ahead of you before hitting your ball.Golfing etiquette also means that it is never cool to “hurry” the group in front of you. If you are playing with others, wait your turn to hit the ball and never hit at the same time as another player.

While you wait for your turn, go to your ball and determine what club you will need to use and how you are going to hit it. This is called “ready golf” and keeps the game moving along. Don’t rush anybody, just be ready.

Another nice piece of golfing etiquette, especially for the novice is ‘playing through’. For example, if your team is holding up the players behind you, say because you are consistently over par, let them play through. You would simply wave them through, or if they are near enough, ask them if they would like to play through. You will never make an enemy by doing this!

When someone is making a shot, you should be standing behind them and you shouldn’t make a sound! It is very distracting to be about to tee off and just as you pull back, someone decides to jingle loose change in their pocket or noisily unwrap a sweet.Replacing divots. Let’s say you are on the fairway and you strike the ball a bit thick and a clod of dirt and grass goes flying, golfing etiquette says that you ought to replace it. On some courses you just put the turf back and step on it to press it down, but on most courses, there is a sand/seed mixture on the course to put into the divot. Also, if your ball makes a deep impression when it lands on the green, you should use your divot tool to repair it.

As soon as you have completed a hole, replace the flag and leave the green as quickly and quietly as possible there may be another team teeing off at the next hole) so that the next players can play that hole. Add up your score and write it on the scorecard when you get back to your trolley.Of course, there are many more rules of golfing etiquette, but these simple ones will enable you to get through the course without making anyone annoyed. If we all keep to golfing etiquette we will keep the game dignified, right?

Rock music, in one form or another, has been around for years. Many pin point the 1950s as the advent of rock with the emergence of Elvis Presley. Though not performing ‘rock’ as we know it, Presley is credited as being a pioneer as rock and roll Presley’s ‘new’ music caused a stir amongst the music industry and outrage amongst some parents as his risqué dance moves left many in shock.

In the 60s rock music evolved further when four lads form Liverpool came to the fore. The Beatles are one of the most successful bands of all time and in the 1960s Beatlemania gripped the world The 1970s saw the advent of two subgenres of rock – glam rock and punk rock. Both had their roots firmly in rock music but they were very different form each other. Punk rock was about rebellion and anarchy with bands like the Sex Pistols at the fore front of the movement.

Glam rock was more experimental and saw the like of David Bowie lead the way. Make up, glitter and platforms were the style of choice.By the 1980s rock had evolved even further. One of the main forms of rock in the 1980s was soft rock. Power ballads were en vogue and big hair was the order of the day. Bands like Chicago and Mr Mister were setting the tone.There was also a darker, more aggressive rock on the scene with bands like Black Sabbath gaining coverage.

Towards the end of the decade we saw more American rock bands – particularly shoe-gaze rock bands – come into the scene. The term shoe-gaze was coined from the way the lead singer of such bands would perform on stage, usually staring at his feet! The 1990s saw indie rock take the spotlight. While pop was dominating much of the charts, Brit pop – a form of indie rock emerged and fierce chart battles ensued.

Grunge rock was also big in the 1990s with bands like Nirvana reaching the top of the charts.2000s saw indie rock back on top as Arctic Monkeys from the UK and Kings of Leon from the US continue to dominate the music industry.

A rock band usually includes one or more guitarists, a drummer and a bassist along with a lead singer. This can change though for example the rock band Keane originally had no guitarists but for the most part this format is followed. Rock music is one of the biggest and most successful genres of music in the history of the music industry and if recent record sales are anything to go by it shows little sign of giving up that claim.

Produced by 20th Century Fox at a whopping $230-million (Rs.1,200-crore) budget, it became the highest grossing film of all time, earning over $2.7 billion at the worldwide box office when released on Dec 18 last year. It is also the top-selling Blu-ray disc of all time.

The makers are also optimistic about a positive response from India, where “Avatar” crossed the Rs.1 billion mark in five weeks. It released here in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. “The re-release of Avatar along with the additional footage will enable millions of Indians to once again experience the magic of the film in 3D. And with the significant growth of 3D screens over the last six months, we are excited that Avatar will also reach out to new audiences in 3D across many more centers around the country,” said Vijay Singh, CEO, Fox Star Studios India.

Avatar was nominated for nine Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director and won three, for Best Cinematography, Best Visual Effects and Best Art Direction. Starring Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver and Zoe Saldana, the movie depicts the story of a wounded ex-marine thrust unwillingly into an effort to exploit an exotic moon rich in bio-diversity, who eventually crosses over to lead the indigenous race in a battle for survival.

C.I.D. is an Indian Television serial aired on Sony Entertainment Television. It’s about a team of detectives belonging to the Crime Investigation Division of the Mumbai Police. It stars Shivaji Saatam the noted Film, Television and stage actor. CID is regarded as the longest running crime investigation TV series in India.

Each episode of C.I.D. starts with a member of the team describing the events of a crime, which is followed by the crime being occurred, and the C.I.D being called out to interrogate the case. Occasionally, while the crime is being committed, the team is usually having fun in the bureau; such as playing chess, talking about Cricket, or picking on Inspector Fredericks for his actions. The C.I.D. team then goes to the crime scene, and starts their search for evidence. They always believe in one statement: Every criminal always leaves something behind. They search the setting until they find something, even the smallest thing, such as a strand of hair. The body, if it is a murder case, is taken to the forensic lab, where Dr. Salunke and his assistant study the body. Dr. Salunke tells interesting thing on how the person may have died. He may have been stabbed by a knife, but he may be killed by poison. The C.I.D. team interrogates all the witnesses. After a lot of hard work, the C.I.D. team solves the case and catches the criminal.
